Book Review

Writer: Aniya MAniya M

“Let it Be.”

Long After We Are Gone is a story that will have you seated within the first 10 pages. I could not and would not book this book down. If you planned on reading it and never got to it, it’s time to move this story up on the list. You will not regret it. The story follows the Solomon siblings as they navigate how to save their family’s land after their father passed away. Each sibling was fighting demons and hiding secrets which lead to a story filled with family drama and generational trauma.. The Solomon siblings ultimately realized it was better to work together than apart. They learned that communication was key and that further secrets would only continue the general curse on their family. In conclusion, they let it be and became one again. Terah Shelton Harris weaved together a beautiful, emotional story and I am looking forward to reading more of her work. Happy reading!✨
