Wow, this is a book I did not know I needed in my life. Who knew instalove at homecoming could develop into something so pure and beautiful! Aubree truly took her time with this story and I appreciated all aspects of it. Everything from the supportive family/friend dynamics, HBCU vibes, and sports elements will have you unable to put this book down. Navy and Jaylani pulled at my heart strings the entire book. I loved how they tried to fight their attraction for one another but ultimately failed. Navy was the perfect gentleman, lover, and father. Seeing him protect, provide, and be there for his girls has made him my number one book bae. Homecoming also deals with some very serious topics like anxiety, depression, CTE, and loss of a parent.
